What is NextCLI?

NextCLI is the open-source continuation of Continue. Use the cn CLI or VS Code with your own model. No hub account. Config stays in ~/.continue.

NextCLI is an open-source coding agent for the terminal and VS Code. It is the community continuation of Continue, maintained by the nextcli-dev organization after Continue Dev, Inc. stopped active maintenance. The software is free under the Apache License 2.0. You pay the model provider whose API key you configure.
There is no NextCLI hub and no account. Config stays in ~/.continue on your machine, including a config you already used with Continue. The CLI package is @nextcli/cli and the command is cn.
